deffinately something from DEI (Directed)

you may also want to look at the Clarion Ungo alarm systems. Im getting a 2-way page alarm with remote start. They are made by DEI, so they are good quality.

good luck with your search.

I've been happy with both my Autopage alarms. Had a basic alarm before and I just installed my new two way alarm remote start. Pretty easy to put in, same range as my friend's viper alarm, few nice features like temp sensor, lifetime warrenty.

I got the Ungo (Clarion) 2 way with the LCD remote. It's the 2004 model so I got it for $150. It's kind of funny because it's Ungo by Clarion but the actual parts say DEI. I love this one, it even tells you the cars interior temperature!

^^ Yeah, gotta love that feature. I love using it to have my remote start activate when the car gets too cold.

I dunno, I really like my black widow... it has excellent range and sensativity, however I would suggest not wading through a swamp to go fishing wiht ur keys hanging from your belt buckle... water isn't good for those adapters

viper 791 xv. If other companies alarms use dei products why not just skip the middle man. either that or a clifford same company. plus expandability is massive with those things. and parts are easy to find too.
