Can someone help me out.. i have a 2001 z 24 with an alarm on it and wanted to install a new head unit, however somone told me that it will screw up your alarm and you wont be able to do it properly. What are the complications with putting this in?

USE THE DAMN SEARCH BUTTON . there is also a thread at the VERY VERY TOP of this forum that gives you about 8 pages of info, including 2 guides. damn n00bs...

your alarm shouldnt have anything to do with your stereo.. weel that is if the alarm was wired in properly from the beginning....

whats with the rudeness? A simple question only requires a simple answer if you know what your talking about. And as a matter of fact.. if you knew what you were talkin about. i didnt just make it up about the alarm.. when i went to ask questions at the store regarding the installation thats what someone told me who was workign there!

what the heck??? i wasnt being rude........
but seriously, the alram shouldnt have anything to do with the radio.... the onlything is the door triger.. (that could POSIBLY, POSIBLY, but highly doubtful!!!!!) have anything to do with it....
