Ok guys, I just had a high-dollar pioneer headunit put in my car but now it sounds worse than before. I haven't changed out the speakers yet, so i was wondering if the speakers can't handle the extra watts or what because when the bass hits its sounds kinda hollow or something. The bass was pretty tight before, also do any of you know how many watts the speakers handle? Oh, and the new radio is 50x4 no amp as of yet.
((I don't have a lead-foot, But i wear steel-toes.))
yeah u might want to turn down ur bass a lil bit and see if that helps untill u get new speakers. if u have subs than just turn the crossover on the head unit to cut out all the bass thats pretty much what i did.
