hows this for an issue

hooked up my butt @$$ old JVC cd player today, ran all the wires, and the cables for the subs, everything hooked up, turned it on, and it sounds nice, play the radio, sounds nice, put in a cd sounds nice, turn up the volume CRACK CRACK SPAZZZ, and now everytime i turn it on it goes (BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ (like not a buzzing noise like electro static but with timed pauses) and that fades, and it just crackles with any amount of volume, i really don't feel compelled to care that much, but i'd like to be able to use this stupid thing until i upgrade to my $300 panasonic deck.... which might take a while.... kuz i have some other plans in mind before i go that far so ya, any ideas other than that the deck is screwed? (and as far as i know none of the speaker leads are touching each other but if i don't get and replies, i'm going to take all the speakers except the subs out and crank it up, if it still does it, i guess i'll need a new deck)

is it just the subs doing it? or your regular speakers too? if it's just the subs, check the ground wire on the amp. for some reason mine did that like after having it installed for 8 months and all i had to do was ground it somewhere else.

no, it's everything, i thought it was the back speaker wires rubbing while the speakers were going kuz they were exposed, but after i took the back speakers out and unhooked everythign they were still doing it, i unplugged the subs and the fronts were still up to the same garbage, best i can figure right now is, i had the faceplate apart because the bulbs on either side of the screen were burnt out, and i replaced them with LED's although that doesn't make sense because before it got packed away for the move it worked fine.... so thats why i'm thinking it might be something else, it's kinda starting to piss me off now too... i went out and messed with everything last night so ya, i'll figure soemthing out, worst case i rip apart the deck and see if i can find something touching where it shouldn't be. the deck seemed to be getting extremely hot last night too, it melted through some plastic it was sitting on :-p if you guys can come up with anything put it out there so i can consider it, for now i think i'm going to go take that thing apart.

ok well thanxs for all the help :rolls eyes: (does not apply to you bolt, conisdering you actually offered something)

turns out the cd player was just old and on it's last legs, the amp end of it was getting too hot and burning things, even when firmly grounded to the battery itself, i even opened it up and checked the connections inside, guess it was just an old beast, and it's time had passed, i only payed 20 bucks for it about 4 years ago anyway, and got at least 2 years worth of use out of it, it's been in about 8 cars, anyway, may it rest in pieces, considering i got pissed and checked it at a solid wood beam in my garage and it pretty much shattered into metal and circut board pieces all over

thought i'd let you guys know what happened, and not to worry about it anymore, not that anyone did in the first place oh well, i'll probly take pics or soemthign when i get somethign half decent for a deck, looking at a nice panasonic one with sub tuning right now. peace out
