I was just wondering if anybody around here has heard the new Alpine type Rs the 500rms 1500peak ones. And if you have heard them I was wondering what your opinion was on them.

Subs ? right ? I have heard almost every previous Gen before this one, and all I can say is "fantastic" Supposedly this gen is even better, So I find it hard to go wrong. I <3 Accodian surrounds*

I am thinking of getting 3 Type R 10s, so that should b fairly loud. I'll b running about 1100-1200 RMS into the 3 of them

i have a type R 12 in and its the new one and it sounds so nice its not even funny.
if ur thinkning about getting one do it its well worth it.
heard two 12 in suburban the other day and all i can say is SWEEEEEET

i have two (12's)of the old ones with 600 watts rms,im thinkig about switching to 1(12) with 600 watts to save trunk space.i heard that they sound pretty good
i have a 12 inch type r sub and it is killer all i need know is a powerful enough amp to power it but i would definitely recommend

no X's 4 12" type R's in the back seat will be more then enough, I'm not spending more just to have X's. the "old" stuff is still in the car, were most likely going on strike AUgust 1st so I'm saving up money (we get paid $100 a week while on strike) so once thats all over with the old stuff comes out when the new stuff goes in. Dylan (Rated Z) gets first dibs, hes been interested since I first started stock piling up parts.
but yeah type R's are awsome, at the bash when I had the music up you could feel the ground shaking hahah (cars where parked on grass)
I had a single Type-R 10" at one point and it did damn well considering it was under powered. I have a single JL 12w6 at the moment and it pounds nicely. Going to comething else soon, possibly back to Type-Rs. They are only $100ea from etronics.
