Well, im kinda in luck and kinda not.

I just got a BOSS AVA1404 7-Band Amplified Equalizer , as a Reaaaly late birthday gift.

I know they are only like $60, but i got it for free, yay.

However i dont know how to hook it up, i got the box but no instructions were inside, And it was used for 3 months prior, then sold on ebay, where my dad bought it.

I know how to give it power, and ground, but the other input and outputs, i dont know about.

So uh, help?

Couldn't find anything on their website, but I think I'd email their tech support at bosstech@bossaudio.com to see if they wouldn't give you some wiring info that might help you out a bit. Most companies are rather helpful in that respect. CodeAlarm helped me out a bunch with an alarm I've got, so I don't see where Boss wouldn't be just as helpful with your EQ.

Ok what inputs are on the back Im assuming one for front rear and sub in and front rear and sub out. If that is the case run the rcas from your head unit into the eq and then out thr the outputs on the EQ. To be perfectly honest, you may end up with more irritating noise in your system than at a baby shower. Im not a fan of anything boss has ever produced

Front and rear left and right, and sub.

I guess since my subs have RCA hook up, would i go from the HU to the EQ, tand then to the Subs?

And i can run both spkr wire and rca's. I have the choice.

So i assume id do the same for the speakers then?

And n8ball2013, thanks for the the input on its sound. I dont like BOSS either, but i got it free, so i might as well try it, you know what i mean.
