wat are some ways i can secure my box so it will deture theifs from gettin my system....
I know I'm not the first to post this topic either but there is already a thread going about the exact same thing.
before installing subs install a metal plate on the bottom of the box that has bolts that go through the box, through the bottom of the trunk, and can be tightened down under the car. build the box big enough that you either have to build it inside the car or go through the back seat to get it in. That way they can't really pull the box out easily. Also use some odd screws to attach everything, find a bolt speciaty store that carries Torx heads, and get multiple sizes.
Install a couple of those piezo (sp?) sirens with backup battery inside the trunk
Don't show it off to people who you don't know...unless its at like a car show or something...besides, if they don't know its in there...they won't think about stealin it.
some good and sturdy L brackets will do just fine so secure the amp
Carriage bolts and a large metal plate work well too. Make sure that the head of the bolt is in the box, the nut under the car.
I always turn down my music when I am getting close to where I Am going to park. That way no one knows what I have in my trunk~
