I'm helping a buddy wire his some new speakers tommorow he's got a 94' Maxima i beleive hes got a stock Clarion amp in the back by his 6 1/2's i havent looked at the wiring yet but figure i'd ask before i jump into it. I think the amp is no good and the speakers in there now are blown to @!#$ he just got the car, will I have to rewire after the amp to the head unit or seeing its stock will the wires be coming directly from head unit to begin with so in other words no rca's? just wanted to check so im prepared with the right stuff before i goto his house any help is appreciated thx

well first of all, you wou;dn't rewire FROM factory amp TO head unit.....
2nd factory amps once they are bad they are usless...
3rd... factory head wont play speakers w/o faxctory amp..
if factory amp works..... use factory wires at head unit....
otherwise... new head..... new speakers.... maybe also new amp between the two
