Radio Not working :(

Ok,
Here is the deal. I took out my stock radio about 4 days ago, and ever since then I have been trying to put in an aftermarket one. The model is Pioneer DEH-1000. I got the aftermarket harness and plugged it on, hooked up all the wires and the thing was not powering up. I checked the fuses and the radio fuse was blown. I replaced it, no sweat thinking this was an easy fix. Turned on the car, and no power to the radio. Took out the radio and hooked it up directly to the battery. Powered up fine. Hooked it back up and still no power. I found a test light and hooked up through the harness and only got a light when I hooked it up though the battery wire.

My question is, do I need to fun the RED wire any where else besides that red wire in the harness? I thought I knew what I was doing, but I guess I dont! Things are very different than on my 1996.

Thanks,
Chris O.

check all the fuses

the same thing happened to me with my fathers car a 1993 chevrolet lumina. The radio fuse was fine, and I checked every fuse in the glove and the problem was the electronic fuse (15 amp).

then everything was fine

I need a new sig =(
