Hi everyone. This is a probablly the wrong area to post this question, but....
I have the cd/tape/am/fm/xm stereo, that you can get in the cavalier, 03 and up i believe. The stereos display is protected by clear plastic with a blue tint. I had cleaned me car with an armor all multi purpose sponge, and left my car for a few hours, when i came back there multi purpuse fluid seemed to have stained the little clear plastic screen. It looks like white drip marks across it, and is very anoying. Can anyone recommend a product to fix it? Ive tried Water with some elbow grease, I have tried another cleaner, and i tried scratching it with my fingernail. It seems to have no texture to it.
I was thinking perhaps its on the other side? maybe some cleaner leaked down? Is there a way to pop it off? Thanks.
WD-40? It does work wonders... cleans the yellow off of old headlight assemblies... might do the trick.
In future... don't clean those parts with that harsh a cleaner... it's recommended in the manual to just use a damp cloth...
