How good are these really? I see alot of talk about them. Looking at the D1200.1 does it really do 1200w @ 2ohm? They are going for like $250 for a factory refurb on ebay, about the same as a JL 250/1.

I used to have a Directed 2400d about 4 years ago when they first came out. It's good stuff, the 2400d in particular I know you CAN NOT run at 1 ohm, it will shut off in a hurry.
