I unhooked it all to rerun RCA's further over. Hooked it all back up, and wow, amp powers on, but no sound. There was slight signal going to the sub, but you had to really try to hear it.
So we.....
-hooked my buddies amp to my sub, sub still works
-hooked my amp to my buddies sub, same problem above
So I figured my amp took a @!#$, hooked up another one today, SAME problem.
You think my RCA cables are jacked? I hope my deck isn't causing this

.
If a friend comes over I'll hook his RCA's to my amp, or possibly buy a new set and try it out. Just looking for opinions.
it sounds like your amp. You switched cars and his amp worked in yours and yours didnt work in his. Did you happen to turn the gain down? Did you meter your power and ground at the amp? and remote? Try to swap rcas. were the speaker leads touching.
It was the RCA's, I musta messed them up somehow when moving them. It's okay! I reran them completely on the pass. side of the car and tore it all apart, soo much nicer now!
Thanks!
no problem. looks like you got the easiest fix out of ittoo.
