hey guys, just got my father some 6.5's and 5.25's for his silverado because thats what circuit city said it took.....i just took a look at his rear speakers and they look like 4x6's to me, he has a 2004 shortbed silverado i wanted to get them put in for him tommorow for fathers day i know the front doors are one or the other at least. can anyone tell me what im suppose to have in there and does anyone know of a good tutorial on taking the doors off (one with the non auto windows and locks) any answers or help is appreciated thx in advance

Yep, rears are 4x6s according to crutchfield. As far as taking apart panels, best bet would probably be to look on a truck forum, get a Haynes manual, or just take out all the screws you can see, and then carefully pry around the edges to see how the panel is attatched and go from there.

how do you normally go about taking the window cranks off is there a special tool, as far as the rest goes just screws and pop in pins *i hope* =P
