I have my old cd player from my 2003 cavy sitting around and I was thinkin why not put it in the s10 - (91)
I know how to wire it up, just wonder if anybody knows before I start if "in theory" it will work. I think it should fit, almost sure they are the same size. Have to look it up.
thanks

i had a 95 s10, it worked. It was just that the brackets didnt line up and they sucked ass when i fabricated new ones. Just put aftermarket cheapo in it.
yeah i took the tape deck out of my cavy in my 93 s-a0 blazer...the raido was a bit too big

96 cavi'/WI j's
00+ GM radios will not work in a non-2000+ vehicle. There is no switched wire to turn it on and off... the BCM tells it to by the Class 2 wire. Since there is no BCM in a pre-2000 vehicle... the radio will never turn on.
It will also not work (without being re-flashed at GM with a Tech 2 diagnostic tool) in any other vehicle... 00+ of course.
Pre-2000 radio would work fine though..

john that is only if they have the double din radio , the trucks were the last to go to the double din , so most still have the smaller radio
