panic button

I sitting here at the comp. and I hear my horn blowing. I look out and there is nothing wrong exept my horn is going off. I go get my keys and hit the panic button to turn it off it turns it off but I don't want it to do this through the middle of the night or when I'm not at home. Neighbors might not be to happy. I have no idea why it would do this. How can I disable the panic mode on the car? It is a 2004 cav. Oh and now it's doing it again. It's been a whole 5 minutes. Thanks

Lock the doors with the switch inside the car, not the remote. Then the theft-deterrent alarm will not set.

It might be one of the door pins gone south...
