Hey man a buddy of mine has it and it works pretty darn good considering that it works off of radio frequency. The signal strength is extremely good, for example for $hits and giggles we decided to see how far the signal actually goes, so we parked three cars next to each other turned on the ipod and got it to play in all three of our cars and it sound pretty good. My buddy then walk of about 25 feet away and it still work in all of our cars. Good luck with it and from my expierience it seemed to have pretty good sound quality and great reception.

With subs you may have a problem, the FM transmitters like the itrip and such are known to suffer massive frequency loss above and below a very tight spectrum of music. IE you will suffer bass loss and those really peak highs. I personally opted to go for the direct connection through the AUX input of my pioneer deck through the dock-to-rca rca-to-bus connectors. All and all with my tunedok, dock connector, pioneer connector cost me about $35. I'll finish the install tommorrow and I'll post some pictures. I had to change the color of the florescent white holder

Same here, I just have a damn wire sitting in between my seats.
BUS Appt from ebay for poineer radio - $20
Radio Shack - RCA to 35mm cable $7

Can't go wrong with that, I didn't care that it won't charge while I was in the car, I have a computer at home and work.

sandmanx, please post install pictures. I'm thinking about doing the same thing, and installing the RCA jacks into the center console, on the passenger side, down next to where the 12v plug is.

i bought a $10 FM transmitter for my Creative MP3 player, and i took it back an hour later. i just bought an AI-net to RCA converter for my Alpine deck and run it through the auxiliary input.

if i was going to buy an FM modulator, if would be one of these. they are directly connected to the antenna's line with an adaptor, so they definitely will send signal to your deck.

i bought an fm transmitter before.. and i also retuned it the same day.. mine was from radioshack.

it sucked, sounded really @!#$ty and always had to adjust the frequency.

so i bought the bus cable for my pioneeer.. but that cost me 50$ in canada

its great though

Brandon lemme help you out here,

Connector for the Pioneer Radio
Expensive, but will charge IPOD while connected - here
-can be found to be $150 or more

Cheap but won't charge but will connect to your radio with no problem
PIONEER CDRB10
- others that are the same thing maybe cheaper, I got my for $20

and get a rca to 35 mm Y adapter from Radio Shack or what ever

Also check with your model on thier website to see if you have an aux input and what specific adapter you need.

Hope that helps.

i have this

It nice cause it is a fm transmitter along with a charger. But as soon as i get a new deck its gone!, i want direct connect. The problem is that, ya u get 8 diffrent channels to try but 4 of them are local stations and the rest only get good reception at night, during the day or on a rainy day you get to much "Noise". Making you have to blast it just to drown out the static. But of course ive never heard anything sound good through a fm Transmitter.

What would you guys recommend to use for me to connect my ipod to the stock deck with the least loss of sound quality?
