I need help installing my ps2 in my car, my question is where do i get the power for the converter, i know it comes with the the cigarette lighter but i do not want it there, where else can i tap in a power source and how much watts the converter need to be. Thank in advance

run a 12 guage wire from your battery, to a 15 amp fuse, then a switch then to converter then ground on a good ground and you will be good to go, have a great day and best of luck
cut off the cigarette lighter if there isnt another set of wires. most bigger converters will have a seperate ground and power wire connection so u can hook the wires directly to it. i believe the ps2 requires 20 amps. (guessing here i bought my inverter like 3 years ago) but the bottom of the ps2 should tell u how much it needs. and the inverter itself should tell you how many amps it can put out.
