I'm putting together a false floor setup, and have worked in four muffin fans into the 'roof' of the false floor, and the electronics are all concealed under this 'roof'.
People have been telling me that I will have overheating issues, even with the fans. What do you think?
Also, the 'roof' will be covered with an oem carpet, so airflow shouldn't be that obstructed, or will it?

cool thanks. the fans will be more than enough to suppy the compartment with fresh cool air. theres really only one way to tell, and like others have said, ill just have to find out.
also thought of leaving the fans exposed, but covered in a grill that is painted the color of the carpet that I am putting in. sort of like the mesh you put in a bumper, and leaving the mesh exposed

Would it make more sence to have two pushing and two pulling?
To keep the flow going.
I am all that is man
sort of like this..?
[ ] AMP1 [X]
[ ] AMP1 [X]
[ ] AMP2 [X]
[ ] AMP2 [X]
^ ^Fans
Openings
the Fans on the right pull air in, air passes over AMP1 and AMP2 and then the hot air is pushed out of Openings? it keeps the amps cool enough?(i know my RF's could boil water and i dont even have them under a false floor yet)
coool. thanks for all the info. I'll do some testing with the fans and the floor and what not and I'll let you guys know how it goes.
