My problem is that my alternator is discharging my battery and leaving it completely dead. This happened before my big 3 upgrade and after. I have a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier with a 2.2. Im running a MTX 1501D class D amp thats hooked up to 2 Kicker solo baric L7S12 subs. The other amp is a Alpine V-12 T-320 thats running the Polk momo db6500 for the front speakers. They are both running off a 2 awg wire fused at 100amps. The head unit is a Eclipse 5444... Is all that @!#$ im running hurting that stock 105amp alternator ? Is there anything i can do ? Im getting a new alternator monday but is there a high amp alternator i could put in my car ? please post of what i should do or can do ......thanks
hahahahahaha.. lol... DUHHHH.......
bro you need more amp's....... either a new alt.. or a few cap's to hold the charge....
When you have a system in your car, you can't expect it to run clean off a stock alt...
especially when you have 2 amps you def need a new alt or a few capacitors...
