been looking at the kenwood double din piece and was just wondering if anyone had fabbed something up for one yet . I'm highly considering it.
hey sorry i can't help about the double din but do you have cdt 61/2's in the doors? if so how do they sound i have a set of 51/4's in the kicks and im about to put the 61/2's in the doors(i have had them for over a year just no time).
they sound great. of course its hard to compete with thexxxs but if I turn them down and actualyl try to blend they are awesome.
You'll have to cut a little of the dash but it's not like you prolly didn't know that already lol
I had a Pioneer FH-P404 and a had 2 single din (Head unit and DVD Player) units installed in that radio hole. You can do it, but you'll need a dremel and patience. Or a hot knife. Either way, you will have to do a little trimming....

The system has arrived.
Today must be mike kicks nate in the ding ding day I swear. Technically I've had a few flats so yes I've cut the tires. And nope not loud. right now my alt is fizzucked. I think that the regulator is trashed. Its ok til I beat on it a little then it likes to spike my voltage into the 15s and 16s and neither amp likes that too much. And it doesnt charge past 13.8 a full volt sdown from new. You haven't heard the new plan yet have you. A second 2500d then some mts. the orions should sing at .7 a piece. oh yeah got a new second job at advance auto parts so optimas shouldn't be hard to come by.

umm... is the opennnig in the dash big enough to fit the double din, and you just have to modify the front bezel, or do you have to cut the actual oppening behind the bezel too?
I had to shave about 1 mm off of the top to make it fit well, but it depends upon which head unit goes in there.
