I wanna know if this is true or not by someone who has a 03 or higher sunfire. I went to radioactive to ask about gettin a system installed..... a head unit, amp and subs. He said that when i get the aftermarket head unit i need some kind of adapter that will run me about 80 bucks, because if i don't have the adapter, then it will screw up my ecu or something? why would pontiac do something like that? just like makin the throttle body oval so it's harder to get a round filter on there.

am not sure as to what you mean by adaptor... but it should come with a craddle to cover the old factory deck which has a huge hole.....

The ECU tho??? meah... I don't think so....

thanks, never saw it. I knew that was all bs, I'm gonna go to radioactive tomorrow and ask them to install the system, and when they say that about the transmission again i'm gonna laugh and walk out.
