I am installing a set of aftermarket foglamps on my sunfire and I have a question related to this. The install on the engine side of it is straightforward. The schematic diagram gives all the detail on that end. My question is relative to coming inside the car. Where do I locate the position for the hole to connect to the switch. I know I will need to drill in order to get the cable from the button inside the cabin out to the harness on the lamps. Are there any locations that people would suggest or maybe have pictures of? I have already tried to search this and came up with no topics related. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a cavi but i would assume u go tthe same thing...
On yourr firewall, near where your steering column goes thru... there's a gromet... its about 8 inches around, but only has 2 inches worth of wire in it. I just took a knife and put a slice in there.
Dont cut in the center where the other wires are... dont cut on the outside where the firewall is... somewhere in between.
I got all kinds of wires going thru there... Amp power, underbodies, fogs lights, PA speaker wire...

yeah that's a good idea... i drilled my own hole in the firewall at the place i wanted it and put a small gromet in there that i stole off the firewall of an old 88 nissan pikup sitting in the backyard lmao... i passed all my amp wires and so forth through there
Thanks guys sounds like I have an idea of what needs to be done. Just starting to get into performing more of my own work on the car.
