I just aguired a used Kenwood CD Changer from a co-worker.

Sure so I now for sure, can some one tell me if i am right in thinking this;
it has a Yellow Battery wire... this would need a constant 12v source
it also has a Red Ignition wire... I am guessing by the name this would be hooked up to the ignition wire of the car.

I just want to make sure i am correct so i don't fire anything.

yeah yellow is constant
and red is when the key is turned on
