Anyone try this? Before I took it off on my 300zx Turbo, it came with a pop off valve to prevent excess boost. This is NOT a blow off valve.
Anyone look into fabbing something similar on the ECO? If nothing else a area of the manifold that would give and be reattachable?
Like maybe a hole cut in the manifold, and a large rubber stopper fitted? It wouldnt come out as the mani sees only vac. But in the case of a nitrous backfire it would blow out, saving the mani and all the other stuff.
Anyone?

not a bad theory, i don't see why it won't work, not much in the way of a market for this, but more of a custom mod to do, not a lot of profit to be made

Something you might want to look at--FAST makes a kit for putting a burst pannel in the LS1 manifold -its stainless and blows at 38-40 pounds. Costs like $150 way to much. but might give you some ideas.
hmm, so i guess the theory works, now for someone with the nuts to hack up their stock manifold......try it and see how it goes

... on the same note....
why not drill into your manifold where it is puddling...and ahve the falve open after you shot is done...and drain the @!#$ onto the ground?
