Hello all of you nitrous Guru's!!!!
Will a MSD window switch work on a car that's not equipped with an MSD ignition? I have a 2.4 97 BTW.
Second someone told me that Zex made an RPM activated window switch as well. I searched their website briefly and did not come across one.
Your help is appreciated.

zex kits come with the wot switch, which you can also buy seperatly to use with opther kits...but i couldnt find a rpm window switch either...
anybody got any info on trhis?
Yes, I run an MSD rpm window switch on my car. For the 2.4, all you'll need is the MDS DIS tach driver (about 50-70 bucks) There's rumors around that there is a usable tach signal somewhere in your underhood fusebox, but I looked and didn't find anything.

So I could just hook up the window switch to the tach output from the MSD? cause in the directions it says the switch cant be used with the MSD. something about too many volts, it will fry the switch.... Can anyone help with input on this? Thanks! -Jeff
what ignition box do you have??? part number???
Thanks for the good info guys, i guess half my battle is over, ll i need is the wiindow switch!!
Listening also ... just bought one ... so with the Zex kit you would want to hook it up inline with your wire that goes to the WOT sensor correct? Also what RPMs do most of you activiate at .. I was thinking about 3500-6200 or 6100 for safety
yes, you put it in series with one of the circuit controls (example: the coil side of the relay that has your wot switch)
i would consider raising your rpms to 4000 to 6200, you don't want to spray too early either, and when i'm shifting i pounce on the gas and it never goes below 4k anyways.
