ok so i have a cheap ebay intake that comes out of the air box instead of the tb.....is it a problem when installing my kit or should i just go ahead and get one that comes from the tb ?? thanks
I would get rid of it(airbox) but it doesn't matter

but see my intake wont fit w/o the box cuz it will prevent the hood from closing and i dont want to use autozones cheap plastic ones ....
buy a different intake or cut it,my ebay intake came as a cai but after the HO mani swap became a short ram

If you really wanna get the most out of your nitrous, I wouldn't put the nozzle in the "box" on your 2200. I mean, it'll make it's way into the engine eventually, but it definitely isn't the most efficient method. And if you try to mount the nozzle closer to the TB and avoid the box altogether, it'll be TOO close.
If you're going to invest all this money in a nitrous kit, you really should shell out a little bit more and get a good short-ram intake at least. If you go with one of ours, we can even incorporated the threads for your nitrous nozzle/plume. Shoot me an email if you need help.

Or you could do it easier and for much less by buying an Ebay cai or wai,drill a hole and mount the nozzle&collar and use an O-ring.Spend $100-$115 or $30,your call.
