I have a 96 Z24 with a cone filter and wanna get an exhaust and at least a 35 shot of nitrous what does everyone think i could run and is anyone close to that
What shot do you suggest for a 96 with the z24 and wanna have it run safely and hopefully beat my friend that has a 97 mustang with exhaust and intake and is running 14.5's what do you suggest???
50 with other mods. 75 without. There are people running 100 shots on here without blowing. Nitro has had a ton of runs on the 100 shot wet and is putting down some awesome low 13 second runs. I would think if you get the correct plugs and run a 75shot you will blow him out of the water.
I guess that mustang is the gt and a 5 speed. Either way the 96-98 gt mustang was very slow, it only has 215hp stock. Even with a 75 shot, he still has much more torque than you and if he can drive, I don't think you will be him. Get to the track and find out what you run. You are gunna need more than nitrous as long as he doesn't mess up.

If you can drive like me, a 75 shot with no other mods could get you to a 13.8-13.9 on street tires, and a 50 shot should put you at around 14.4, maybe just a hair faster than your buddies stang.
