I dont know maybe I've just seen too many movies like F&TF, but i'm spraying a 50 shot and usually in 3rd gear. I dont really feel it kick as all. At first I really didn't notice it. My RPM's seemed to climb pretty fast. When I raced my friends b16 hatch I really new it was working cause I was kicking his ass, lol.
So my real question is, when do you spray and do you feel a kick? Maybe I should spray in 2nd and see if I feel it. I could always just go with a bigger shot =P
most people with a manual spray in second gear
you should go with a 75, you will fill it better. I spray in 3rd and it hits hard.
You'll know it's working b/c the needle will be CREEPING up the tachometer until you're spraying, and then it'll run. You're only gonna get that huge kick in the a$$ when you get into some serious jet sizes.
Yea, I saw my tach creeping then I sprayed and it started moving real quick. Plus like I said I beat my buddies b16 hatch which I couldn't before.
A firm believer the only way to know if you're improving with any mod is to take it to the track.
Most J's will pull the 1/4 in third. So spraying in third really isn't going to show much

Plus, you're not really spraying a 50 shot unless you have full bottle pressure. You have a bottle heater yet?

yea bottle pressure makes a good difference I cant even tell you how much I love my heater
what happens if you the rpm limiter in second while you are juicing it.will it hurt anything. i have a 2200 as well,i don't have the bottle yet,but that is my next investment, and i run the 1/4 in third and hit the limiter about 100 ft before the line.

I personally spray off the line. I drop it at 3200rpm and ease into the trottle and when i get traction i floor it and let the window switch do the on and off thing. Deffinatly get a bottle heater. I got mine on now and I was so happy with it I used 30lbs of nitrous in 4 days. Talk about fun..I also love my 75 shot...
