Well I finally got the bottle filled and took it to the track to see what I could do. First I will show you the setup:
I have a 2003 Cav sedan automatic. My only modification is an intake. I did 4 runs total starting with no juice, 50 shot, then 2 with the 75. When all the run only class cars were lining up to race the announcer told everyone that the calibration between start and finish was off by .3-.4 seconds. So he said to knock off at least .3 and that is the true time. Whether or not its true I don't know but if he announced it to everybody theres gotta be some truth to it. My first run with no juice was a 16.4. So if the guy was right it was about a 16.1. My second run with the 50 shot was a 15.4 or 15.1. Then my last 2 runs with the 75 shot was both 15.2's or 14.9's. I will have pics of the timeslips as soon as my buddy gives me my camera back. So if the numbers are true then I gained over a second in my 1/4 time.
I forgot to mention its a NX EFI Stage 1 wet kit, with NGK TR6's and 93 octane.
Sounds about right for an auto! Now get a stall converter (if you can even get one installed on our cars), header & downpipe, tranny mounts, engine mounts, and stickier tires!
that would be good for about .5 off of what you're doing I would think!

O and the guy in the red 03-05 with ls sport rims was running a 13.9 best with his 75shot, but the conditions were different and he has a manual! Possibly more small mods here and there also!

14.9 on a 75 shot? you should be faster than that. i have a 50 shot and ran a 14.7
what are your 60 foot times?
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
My reaction times were terrible. My best one was a .948 and best 60' was 2.380. Gotta remember I have an auto and I dont hit the spray until 3100 rpms in first.
reaction times dont mean jack unless you are bracket racing. i also have an auto.
on my 14.7 my 60 foot time was 2.2
get your 60 foot time down to that or better and you will be faster. remember practice makes perfect

Ya it was my first time at the track. How do I go about getting my 60' down? Should I spray at a earlier rpms? What rpms do you power brake to before the launch? Oh yeah here is a pic of me at the track:
i lowered my tire PSI to about 29-30. and i launched at about 2000 RPM due to other times i had bad wheel spin at the line. then once i got going i just floored it. i have a WOT switch with the nitrous. basically when i floor the gas pedal it sprays.
i also took out my spare tire and jack. ran on 93 octane gas. just keep on practicing until you get the hang of using nitrous.

put ur stock wheels back on when u run also...
I have a wot also but I heard it wasnt good for the motor to spray before 3k rpms, so I flip the arming switch as soon as I hit 3100 in 1st. Should I spray before 3k? Is it actually safe?
oh yeah. your 18 inch wheels dont help much. and i also see you ahve sportlines. i hope you upgraded your struts with Konis

yea, don't spray the 75 shot until after 3000 rpm, just as you have been doing. Below 3K and you'll just lug the motor. I spray 100 shot, but I don't let it spray below 3800 RPM on my LD9. Arming the switch while you're making a pass suckes though, try an RPM switch. You have an auto, so you may not need a window switch, since your trans shifts before you overev anyway.

I cant wait till next year when i can run my Z24
it's an auto but by then i should have a turbo pushin 7psi (At least) and mayeb 75 shot of nitrous

14.9 with a 75 shot sounds bout rite i run a 125 shot with just a short ram and one step cooler spark plugs and street tires and ran a 14.3 @93 and 1.9 60ft. time ... some advice change the plugs and use a 100 or 125
Krisco what altitude are you at?? Cause that makes a HUGE difference. The track I run at is at 5800'. My best time is 15.4 here on a 75 shot. But when figured for sea level its a 14.2
Frank a 14.3 @ 93 with a 125 shot are you kidding me -- what kind of motor do you have?
^^^it would have to be. I ran a 13.8 with the 75 shot and a 2.1 60' time. If I could pull a 1.9 right now, I would run a 13 flat. My eventual goal is 12's, but I'll need to run a mid 1.8 60' to do it with everything else the same. Not bad for the few mods I have though.....
