thanks man. yea, there's a couple bugs with the coding that makes it not look accurate in all browsers. im workin on it.

I like it a lot, very well done. My only gripe is something I'm sure you're already aware of. Your navigation appears a little lower than it should in Firefox.

Also, I want to know how the hell you make the background pattern in images like this one:

By the way, I like the links in your portfolio section, how they are desaturated until you hover over them. I'm totally stealing that in some way at some point

^^ haha, thanks man.

everytime i use div's, somehow they always get unaligned in firefox and various other browsers. i design my site to optimize in IE7 with 1024x768 screen res. i get really frustrated with it. when i code them with tables, i dont have any of those problems, but i dont have as many options either.

as for the background, you can find a lot of that kind of stuff here.

Without going all into your css, the only thing I can say is make sure you declare everything.
