Well, Just wondering if anyone can pop the red hood on my car (i know its a small pic), i dont think my angles are too far off.

keep the current hood. or upgrade to the 02+ scoop style... that hood looks gross on my friends mustang... and i will always hate it.
yeah... i dont know if anyone knows the mods or planned mods/upgrades for this winter, but looks arent exactly the cars main thing... and the hood is for more clearance.

How do you open that thing without it hitting the Windshield?
it's a pin on hood. a light fiberglass hood that is held on with only pins.
and J-Tech get off my ass about lowering it and actualy read my suspension mods in my registry

what the hell are you adding that you would need MORE clearance than the hood you have provides?
modded strut brace, new, much taller intake manifold. among other things, but what does it matter to anyone else?

it's not exact, but I think you get the idea. i ditched the pic of the red mustang (angle was good, pic was just too low res) and tried to reform your hood to get the overall effect:

Tracer: I will be getting a P-51 intake and custom fabbing the front 4 point strut tower brace to fit with a bar that goes over the top of it.
The aftermarket intake flows MUCH better than stock, if you read my mod list in my registry you will see that the intake is the ONLY thing holding my motor back at all, and the P-51 is taller than stock. The modded strut tower brace will then add another 1/5-2 inches as well. Why are you so negative about it? Grow up and get over it. No need to keep questioning me and bltching about modding my car, I wouldn't be looking for more clearance to work for if I didn't think I needed it.

i figured you would take my second question negatively but it was an actual question as to what it would do
alright, well sorry for not understanding your tone or anything, the internet tends to do that lol. but anyway, the intake i plan to get provides me with 2 key fatures: 1.(duh) better flow and 2. it's aluminum rather than the plastic PI intake on there now, that is just waiting for an N2O backfire to blow it apart.
