well i've been seeing teddy's toons for a while now and i figured i'd see what i could do. after seeing teddy's toon of the blue cavalier with the type j kit i just had to try that picture. i couldn't find it in the registry but luckily i had the same picture on my computer. so i hope teddy and the owner of the car doesn't mind me trying this. it's not finished but i'd like to see what you guys think so far.

a little more. i've tried to use some of the techniques i see in teddy's work but i can't pull it off. i'm not that talented...yet lol. anyway, i've done a little more work on it and yeah i know i have a lot of mistakes.

how did you do the white to green coloring? is that gradient fill or what?
i believe he used the same tech as beach or whoever.. just use blacks and whites over the orig color to shade or lighten

im using gimp so i need to know exactly how its done in photoshop so i can translate it into gimp tools lol

i used the pen tool to make the shape of the highlighted area. then i made it a selection. chose my colors (white) and then used a white to clear gradiant fill. then i just set the opacity of that lvl lower.
