i was thinking of painting black eyelids onto my headlights. how do you think it would look? (only difference is that i didn't have my clear corners on in this pic. and i also eventually plan on painting the headlights black so i dont know how that would look with black eyelids)

shoot just get yourself some trd eyelids from IZN, he will give you the hookup, if will def. be worthit in the long run, trust me. i did this to my car and after about a month hated it and bought some, and im glad i did.

i thought about that... only reason i havent is because right now all my $$ is going towards finishing up my custom turbo kit. so i have been thinking about some lil "at home" mods i could do.

Cavaliers just don't look good with eyelids. If anything, copy the design of the TRD ones and paint that on.

i used to not like them but ive kinda gotten fond of them. i like the accentuated aggressive look it gives the car. its kind of neat. i think it looks 10x better if its actually molded into the hood, but it still looks good otherwise.

Most of the "eyelids" I've seen tend to miss the mark of "aggressiveness", especially on Cavys since they almost all have a sort of happy-face grill design. Instead they give the car a eyes-half-open "alluring" gaze, like it wants to get humped by the Neon in the next parking spot.

mild eyelid painted on with krylon fusion. i wouldnt do it personally.. because its not really reverseable...

or, u can do like what i did back in the day on my old red one in my no sense younger days.. i had some black headlight covers and bought some red vinyl decal for my windshield and i used a little on my headlight covers.. its removable unlike paint.

but i still wouldnt just do eyelids, buy real ones or dont do em.. personally do either whiteboy's new invader hood with eyelids or the trd ones.. painted ones look cheap cuz they are
