I had a good pic of the hood on the GTO so I thought I'd try I think its not to bad for a first try

the main edges i messed up on

not bad at all for first try, i would use distory and make the top of the pattern smaller so it looks more realistic cuz te weave will get smaller towards the back of the hood in appearance..

weave looks a tad too big imo. I did the same thing the first time i tried CF.
