Are those the actual size that the taillights would be on a cavy though? Probly be a pain in the ass to mold the trunk to the shape of the lights, since I don't think you'd be cutting them in 2.

it will be interesting, the whole end will practically be redone, we do have a donor trunklid though, so that will go under the knife first, then we'll go from there

I'll try when I get home, you're planning on molding the trunk around the lights right?

Nice, now get rid of the original cavy trunk lines under the taillights and just continue the new trunk line off the inner sides of the taillights.

haha that is awesome.

i agree with decepti cav, i wanna see that shiz with the bumper molded and the cavy lines under the tails removed.

larry, you rule. i'm definetly considering moving the license plate now, that rear bumper looks 100 times better like that.

again, thanks! keep going!

Should tilt the licene plate too or something, just for the hell of it.

There ya go, I moved the lines below the tails to the inner edge. Not the best, but oh well.

if i can find a good pic of the wrx tails it would look sooo much better plus i was half asleep doing this i never thought of matching the trunk lines

but i think the best way to pull the lights off with your car is to do a wide body to match the tails like on the wrx

yeah we have plans for that, it's gonna be hard widebodying a 4 door sunfire.

the problem will be having time to do it, i go to school during the week and work on the weekends so for now it's my only form of transportation, unfortunately i cant afford a 2nd car's insurance with the bills i have now.

any suggestions on how i should start? i have a donor trunk lid.

well i would get the tails and every thing u need.

as for a wide body this is not a joke get alot of card board and druck tape make it the way u want them put a layer of duck tape on the hole thing and lay fiber glass down let it dry and pull it off theres your widebody lol

i have the tails, just no wiring or brackets to hold them in, so everything will have to be custom

haha duct tape and cardboard? i think that would take my respect level to a negative area

i didn't say to leave them on the car there just templates

then i really didnt follow what you were saying very well, sorry.

make the widebody out of cardboard then rapp it with ducktape *fiberglass don't stick to the back of the duck tape* lay the fiberglass when it hardnes put it off sand it fix some of the spots with tiger hair or kitty hard then sand some more then use a filler and there ya go your widebody
