I am reviving this topic from the dead - I got caught up in business and totallly let the logo end of things slide. There are some really cool entries but I still don't think I have exactly what I am looking for yet. I initially had stated that the contest would run until the end of the month, however I still have not found exactly what I am looking for so am going to bump the winning logo prize to $70 USD through paypal. The contest will be extended for an additional two weeks beyond the original date and will close on JUNE 17th. The $70 USD will be sent via paypal on JUNE 18th after the winning logo has been selected. I hope that nobody thinks that this is unfair, but I haven't had a post in the original topic since the 8th of May (my fault), so I think that adding a couple more weeks and adding $20 to the pot is fair.
Some of the existing entries have been pulled, and I would hope you guys can repost them again.
As a refresher, what I am looking for is the following for the business name " ENVISION AUTO"
1)A SIMPLE, CLEAN, UNIQUE, design. The intent is to use the logo for BOTH business front signage in addition to business cards, letterheads, internet marketing, etc.
2)The business focuses on HIGHLINE (Luxury) vehicles, NOT strictly SUV's. (The current website does lend itself to strictly hummer's, but that will be changing soon)
There are more details of what currently has been submitted and commented on here:

And some of our current entries include these:
Thanks again and good luck!

I like the simplicity of this one. Good for cards, bulding signs, etc etc. Adding the cars or rims in the design makes it look too cartoony and unprofessional. I think for a business dealing with people with class and money, should have a logo geared to just that. Simple. Clean. Bold.
Let me know what u think.

Here is something I threw together. The font can be changed to anything, I just chose something a little on the elegant side. Also, the actual curved part of the logo can be sharpened so it isn't blurry. I don't have access to photoshop as of today, so it's just a draft.
After looking at the current submissions, I really do agree with the statement about simplicity, elegance, and class.....but at the same time I really like the script font, I am just wondering about the useability on signage. Script letters can lose their meaning at a distance so thats my only concern.
I am really liking the entries from zook and shifty cav with the simplicity and yet still the tie in with the vehicle outline.......was wondering about adding some of the vehicle logos.....just another idea.......sort of like this:

The biggest hole, is the illusion of invulnerability.

Yea I have plans on Changing It a little, just so it runs a little more horizontally lol, and thanks for the compliments and suggestions lol
Teddy, #1 is tight.........and you have got some amazing skills there - I don't think that is going to work for a logo as it focuses too much on the H2's and is a little too big, but for web page design that is wicked. Do you do web design at all? Any samples?
I am liking ShiftyCav's design and was wondering about adding just a touch of color to the outline of the car.
<img src = "http://www.members.shaw.ca/shaun-ironside/sig_pic.jpg">
thanks. what kind of color are you talking aboutdo you have a particular color you would like to see. do you want that color to be the outline or to accent the outline?
ShiftyCav: Maybe 'slightly' smaller O's and a red or yellow accent on the car - - > maybe similar to what -zook- did with the accent?
The others are looking good too. Did you want the car emblems implemented into the logo design or just have them under like you have? I can't realy think of anything else to add to mine.
Yea I can supply some samples of web design, I'll post some tommorow.
damn you dj teddy, i though you left this site
just kiddin, i've always loved your work...gj man

DJ TeDDY: Nice Work! I am looking for a website VERY similar to these competitors of mine, and if possible an improvement in some areas. Could you give me an idea of what it would cost to set up a web page that is similar in form and function to these listed below:
http://www.zrauto.ca/
http://www.kulumotorcar.com/main.asp
or these as well:
http://www.gpimports.com/

And I guess we are down to the last week for the logo design! I have to say I am really impressed with the work you guys do and there is still lots of time left for new entries........but so far I have to say that ShiftyCav is definately in the lead as far as the overall concept of what I am looking for. Anyone feel free to make improvements on any design.......
