The reason they watermark those is to make duplicating them very difficult. Those Copyright emblems ARE possible to remove, but it would take a talented airbrush painter to get them out, or to simply crop the picture to where its not seen.

if you have a hard copy (actual picture) just take it to target, scan it and blow it up.... or at least reprint it for her.

I have to agree, that photographer makes money of these pictures to support himself, wether it's your picture or not, he owns it. But I can't say I haven't did the same thing once before, with a prom photo
