Okay, i know that there are a few other threads going where people can request a sig & you prolly dont want to see one more. But they are so long, its hard to weed out the few that never got any sigs made for them. Me, Blakout, and whoever else that is willing to help, will make sigs as we have time. I am still learning, but Im getting better, ive made about 6 so far. If you do get a sig that you dont like and you dont want to use it thats okay, if I personally make it and you dont like, I will redo it for you as time allows.
When you ask for a sig to be done, please provide these things:
1- pictures with good angles, unique or not, good lighting, higher res pics work better. just pic out a few pics that you would like used. ONE picture doesnt leave much room for us to play with when designing a sig for you.
2-things that youre interested in. When I make a sig I usually look at the persons profile to see what they like. i.e., what your fav color(s) are, what words you would like included in the sig, etc....SHOW US YOUR PERSONALITY so we can create something UNIQUE for you.
3 - Please be patient. There are more than a couple of people that make sigs, but people do it on their spare time. Sigs can take me anywhere from 2 hrs to a whole day depending on how much detail is involved.
if you have requested a sig before , and it has not been made, its prolly been due to your pictures being extremely hard to work with. please rerequest your sig if you still want one and we will see what we can come up with for you.

It's best if you just stick to the threads already made, same as those requesting sigs. I don't think anyone is moderating the image manipulation forums anymore, but in the past the sig requests outside of the sig threads have been locked. If you notice, there's a "part 16" sig thread, it's been long standing, nothing new. This is nothing more than another sig request thread, which at the moment there are 2 of already.
Just take a minute to look through a thread & see who has a sig done. If it helps you out, keep a list of those who have requested one & then cross off or delete the ones you see were done. Keeping all of the requests in one thread makes it easier for those of us who do sigs to figure out who needs one. If you think it's hard to look through one thread, try looking through 3 or 4.
Creating duplicate request threads is personally bothering me because I've had multiple sigs, including yours, that were requested in multiple threads & it created doubles. I don't care to waste time on a sig if someone else is doing one for the same person, I'd rather do one for someone who doesn't have anyone working on one for them.
I understand what you mean about having multiple threads, but as far as multiple sigs being made for the same person, I dont see anything wrong with that. The person will then be able to either use all of them as a rotating sig, or will be able to choose the one that they actually like better. For me, making a sig is not only for the person, but for me too. I enjoy doing it and dont mind if someone decides to use someone elses. thats just me though.

A lot of the problem is that people stopped making sigs. Out of frustration and somewhat selfishness, people who were too impatient started other threads to draw attention to themselves. That leads to a back-up of people who wanted sigs, which means if 3 people make 1 person a sig, those same 3 people could have done them for 3 separate people and helped prevent the multiple sig threads.
I don't do sigs for personal enjoyment, I'm a full-time graphic designer in the advertising field who has down time due to the fact that we're done with the Christmas rush. I have to fill my shift with design related crap, so sigs seem to fit the bill. It's nice to help someone, but I've had enough picky crap in the past from doing sigs to know that they're not that appreciated by many. If I'm going to take the time to do a sig for someone, I'm going to make sure nobody is left out because I'm doing the 3rd, 4th or 5th sig for the same person. Like I said before, all that causes is a back-up of impatient people who will make their own threads & that's lame.
