i use jasc paint shop pro 9. i can do anything i can do in photoshop in psp9

psp = 90 dollars jasc.com

they also have a 60 day demo of it as well on the site

if you are looking into doing graphics as a profession get photoshop it is the industry standard. if you want to do it for fun, get psp and save 500 dollars
