Is this exactly the same? meaning will my 2.2 alternator bolt directly to my new LD9 motor? Ive been looking at some pictures of the alt on the LD9 and it looks like its different, the case im talking about.
btw, my 2.2 alt is still in my car thats why I cant physically match them up lol

What about the insides its just I have a ld9 with a spun rod bearing so I am putting my other car on the road and the alt is not charging but I am puting the 3100 in it this summer
think 2.2 had external fans and 98+ had the internal fans on the alts if i remenber correctly and i think older ones were the same as 3.1L

all different cloc positions for the housings. also, different housings all together.
they all had internal fans too.
why would you want a 3100 boat anchor in the car? for same amount of work the 3400 would provide beter results.
I need a new sig.
00+ 3100 isn' too far off.
