2 problems!!!!!

i just swapped a 2.4 out of a 97 z24 into my 99 z24 and now i got 2 problems. first problem the knock sensor is different what can i do to be able to hook it up. second problem i get most of it hooked up enough that i can start it. i turn the key it cranks didnt fire i turn the key again and nothin for a few seconds then it cranks still doesnt fire 3rd time i try nothin happens i checked all the grounds and cleaned them. battery has power if i jump the 2 wires on the starter it will start just nothin with the key any help is greatly appreciated. the car is a 99 z24 5 speed

that number comes up as nothing and ive called a dealer and still nothin

you need the eariler knock sensor..plain and simple.
as far as it not starting it sounds like the anti theft ..and since im not gonna give you everything on a platter your gonna have to search alittle...cus i dont know which wire harness or pcm your using or anything.

ive done the anti theft relearn a couple times it starts and stays running when i jump the starter it just does nothing with the key. i used everything from the 99 the only thing that is from the 97 is the engine ive tried searching and havent found anything about the problem i am having

Check for corrosion on your wires coming from the ignition or check the wires on the starter and make sure their tight or maybe its the solenoid on the starter thats bad
