1997 cavalier PROBLEMS, help please

HI all, i have a 1997 cavalier convertible 2.2L. a couple of weeks ago my car battery light in the cluster went on. i drive half and hour like that and suddenly a noise came out the alternator. i stopped when the car started to stumble and change it for a new one from AUTO-ZONE. then after installation didnīt star because the batterie was death. i then used some cables and jumped it and started right away. drove the car like that half and hour and get home. then turned off and started again and it started with no problems. next day in the morning the battery was death again. bought new battery and the engine turned but didnt start. i notice theres no power in critical areas, like the fuel pump, etc. so i guessed it was the anti theft lock. some mechanics tried to started, but they said it was the computer. i bought in ebay a computer, they installed it but the same history, it didnt started. we did the relearn stuff with the doors closed 10 minutes and all but the light of antitheft is always on, charged the battery and same history. the weird thing is that when you put the key in on, the "engine service light" didnt turn on. all other lights turn on. whats wrong with the car? is it the gauge cluster the problem???

thanks NELSON

Sounds like your computer wasn't the problem. And after changing the computer THEN you have a problem with the anti-theft system.

Sounds like you need to just put the car back the way it was, and take it to a REAL mechanic that knows what they're talking about. Rather than just sit and piss your money away by throwing parts at it. One, you english isn't that great, and 2 it's hard to really sit and diagnose that kinda thing on the internet. Best to take it to a real mechanic.
