You need a torx bit, 31mm(I think socket), allen wrenchs to take the caliper off. Take the big nut off the wheel bearing. Take caliper and rotor off. Spin it to get the the 3 torx bolts. You will see what I mean. Then take a hammer and beat it out of the spindle. It isn't hard. I would get the life time wheel bearing. If it comes with the seals use them. Which is a little bit harder. Have to pop the spindle off from the ball joint to install them. Which I went threw 6 wheel bearings on the right side. Till I got the lifetime warranty one from advance and installed the seals. Those 6 wheel bearings were within 15k miles. So far I have put 5k on this one.

O and tourqe the nut to spec. I think it is 100ftlb's. Don't hold me to that though.

3 torx eh? I am thinking you should go look closer at the wheel bearings. If you had read his post, he indicates he needs help with the PASSENGER SIDE REAR... does your jbody have a caliper, rotor and the "big nut" in the rear? Highly doubt it.

As for your 100ft. lbs. of torque for the spindle/axle nut, you are WAY off, 95-97 is 185, 98-05 is 148. These are specs straight from National's website, they make OE bearings.

You have to be able to tell when the manual is giving you an extra step though. Take for example the 2.8 V6 chevy headgaskets I just did. Manual tells to take the fuel rail off to pull the lower intake manifold. WTF for? Even better it goes on to say the pushrods need to be pulled out to take the lower intake manifold off. WHAAAT? You have to pull, depending on year, either only 6 or all 12 to PULL THE MANIFOLD GASKET off of a 60 degree V6, LIM itself will come off with the pushrods in the motor. Trust me when I say it's a lot easier pulling pushrods, especially the firewall side, out of 60 degree V6 with the LIM off.
