I have 97 Cav with a 2.2 and i'm driving home and i look down at my speedometer and it's not working? I stop at a light and it goes down very slow and when i take off it does the same.. It jumps alot too! I have no ABS light so i don't think it's a speed sensor? Could someone help me please?? Thanks
If the VSS went out it wouldn't take very long for the ECU to throw the check engine light on for low output. Still might be worth looking into though.
If not, you can pick up a cluster at a wrecker or ebay or wherever for pretty cheap.
