I have a 1997 z24 cavalier fully built i have only drove it about 150 miles it is turboed. Its weird wen im driving down the road and push in the clutch the rpms goes up and then goes down it doesnt do it all the time . And when i go to stop it goes under a thousand and then goes back to idel i dont know what going on ive checked over it but cant figure it out any ideas ?
All it takes a second to go down it climps from 3000 to 4000 if i switch at three and i changed the throttle position sensor and checked the rest and it still does it
Egr and oxygen sensor but it ran fine the other day just started doing in should i try a new map sensor it seems to do it after i go into loke a pound of boost

No, your cars is telling you whats wrong, the o2 sensor can make cars do strange things.
