I just got this car with a bad engine. Now my problem is there are a ton off 2.2 out there and i need to know if i need to replace my 03 2.2 ecotec non flexfule and the egr valve is not in the head with the exact same thing or will others work? I am cant seem to find a reasonably priced one that is the same one that i have. the yards around me are asking 650-1100 for the one i have

check your 8th digit of your vin. It will be a '8' or an 'F'. As long as the cars 8th digit matches yours youll be fine. I just did the same thing actually. i found a motor with 21k miles for 450.
