Well, the subject says it all... At least it's not a water pump AGAIN, or a bottom end knock, AGAIN. I was putting the Z back together for the umpteenth time (struts and brakes), and noticed crush marks on the evaporator and core support. There's only one bolt holding the mounting bracket for the top mount to the engine. The bosses for the other two are completely hosed, and practically non-existant. Any ideas? I'm thinking about going with a torque strut setup similar to the 3.8's, until I can come up with some stroke of genius. It's kind of funny that I've now owned this car for ten years, and it hasn't spent a full year actually on the road even if you combine all the short stretches I've had it running. It's a 97 Z24, by the way. It's 3am, and I'm rather inebriated, so pics will have to wait for the morning.
