Hi guys, I'm a truck guy so I've never worked on a fwd before. I've got a twin cam in a 99 sunfire. I pulled the starter. The 3 bolts across the top ( including the starter), 1 in the back, 1 in the front, 2 smaller ones in the oil pan and 3 Torque Converter bolts. It won't move a hair, did I miss something? I just wanted to check before I got the Big Hammer and the Big Prybar out of the toolbox. Thanks.
There is one bellhousing bolt that goes in backwards from the rest. If you look behind the engine from the passenger side wheel well to the drivers side you'll se the one bolt that you're probably missing.
Yeah, I got that one thanks. If that's the only one in the back I guess the dowel pins are seized as I can see the front and the top pretty well.
If it is a 4 speed auto there are two bolts on the passenger side just behind the cv shaft that need to be taken out as well...
