well ive been working on this thing for a while but i finally got some progress on it... to get everyone up on what i have done so far here is a short list
power sterring delete
086 head
secret cam swap
ld2 block and internals
working on the neon coil conversion
shaved lgo intake
there is more to come but as for pics here are a few.. any comments or suggestions are appriciated, thanks
Power steering delete gets annoying as hell if youre driving it on the road and can be slightly unsafe.
the lo intake because i had it around... i also have the header style intake that im considering.... but mostly it was here
Egad, no.. the header-style intake is total garbage. If you're going to do it up right, at least find the right HO intake for the 086 head. Why half-ass it?

Ooh, I missed the secret cams bit. That's mint!
Secret cams are only good on the 2.4L. There would be no point in running them on a 2.3L Quad 4. You may as well just swap a 2.2L OHV engine in there!!
well i was just telling you what cams i had, i wasnt fortunate enough to get the ho cams but thanks for being a dick
i dont he was being a dick. if you have a 086 head why don't you have the other HO parts? to get the head you gotta take the HO intake hanifold off and the HO cams out.
well to think about it you should of got the whole HO motor. easy 30-35hp gain.

You started with an LD2, you add a LO intake. Gain near 0. You then swap 1 Lo cam. Then again gain near 0. You have an 88-89 LO exhaust manifold. Hum why? and once again 0.
The ONLY good thing is the 086 head witch does NOTHING for you since you still kept a Lo intake and exhaust manifolds.
All I see there is a bunch of parts doing nothing more than lightening your wallet.
Btw, powersteering delete? Why? To gain 1-2 hp? Is it really worth it? It's not like you swapped a set of big cams.

just felt like doing the power steering delete, nothing really more to it... and as for all the parts thrown together, if you would have read, i had everything lying around minus the head... i bought because mine was cracked and got a really good deal on so i figured why not, its a work in progress, i have found ho cams and a ho intake so i will have those befor to long...and the exhaust its not definate either, i had it there i do have the lo exhaust as well do i need to find a ho exhaust too?

I have stock and powdercoated / ported HO intakes for sale........w41 cams also
