Hello , I'm wondering if anyone can tell me about my old Z24 . I bought my car new in 2002 and it came from the factory with all the things that came on a LS sport. The split 5 spoke wheels , Front bumper extension , painted foglight bezels . The car was basically an LS sport with an LD9 and Z24 emblems on the side. I've since traded the car for a SS/SC and now SS/TC ........but have always wondered if it was a freak or maybe GM still had some LD9's to get rid of and ran out of Z24 stuff. Thanks for the info .

no, 02 was the only year that all 3 engines were available (2200, 2.4, 2.2 eco)
Technically it is a LS Sport with the Z24 package.
It was the end of the line for the LD9 by September/October 2001. By November 2001 it got the Ecotec.

right around sept. oct in 2001 is when i picked mine up. i got the 2.4 instead of the 2.2 eco.

Mines an 02 with a 2.4,my bro in law bought it brand new then,really glad it's got the 2.4,nothing like it.
